SUMMARY

Mr. Fitzgerald has over twenty years of experience in the occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental fields and eight years of experience as a practicing Architect. Mr. Fitzgerald has developed a small, local supplier of personal protective equipment into The Argus Group - a major source of a complete range of products and services including industrial hygiene and environmental consulting; comprehensive training programs; design and engineering of environmental safety monitoring systems; regional distributor and manufacturer’s representative for safety and occupational health equipment; and repair, calibration and rental services.

Argus Supply Company - a distributor of personal protective equipment;
- ASC Professionals - a provider of repair, calibration and rental services for safety and environmental equipment
- MasterTek - a distributor and service center for SCBA to the fire fighting market

Argus Supply Company - President, 1978-Present
Managed development of company from $1,500,000 to $3,500,000 annual sales; established Argus Service Company (ASC Professionals)

Argus Supply Company - Vice President, 1968-1978
Developed several sales territories from $60,000/year to $800,000/year; established opportunities for and hired three additional sales people; developed lines of equipment to serve the industrial hygiene and environmental fields. 

Williams & Tazewell, Norfolk, Virginia - Architect, 1966-1968
Job Captain in charge of design and development of varied projects including ten story Arts & Letters Building, Old Dominion College; production and bottling plant for Farm Dairy, Inc; and interior design of suites in the Bank of Virginia headquarters.

United States Air Force - Lieutenant, 1962-1966
Engineering officer in charge of construction projects at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia. Projects included a seven story Non-Commissioned Officer apartment structure; a 300-unit Family Housing development on fifty acres; remodeling the Officers’ Club; converting a World War I airplane hanger into a Computer Center; designing the Tactical Air Command Center.

Minoru Yamasaki & Associates - Architectural Designer, 1961-1962
Lead designer for the Woodrow Wilson School of International Studies, Princeton University; design development work for the World Trade Center, New York City; participated in projects for Pahlavi University, Tehran, Iran, the Japanese Cultural Center, San Francisco, and the Weiss School of Business building, Harvard University.
